Upcoming Litters
We are now taking waitlist applications for spring 2026 onwards. You can also apply to join the reserve list for litters expected before this time frame as we may have availability of certain colours/ genders.
Please note that circumstances can sometimes change, so we encourage you to reach out if you’d like to be added to the reserve list.
We’ll be keeping this page regularly updated with news about planned and available litters. For more frequent updates, photos, and behind-the-scenes snippets, you can also follow us on Instagram: @doxieberrydachshunds.
What to Expect
Step 1: Join the Waiting List
Once you contact us, we’ll let you know about any available or upcoming litters. If you’re planning for the future, we can add you to our waiting list. As our list fills up quickly, we recommend reaching out even if you’re not quite ready yet.
Step 2: Getting to Know Each Other
We want to be sure each puppy goes to a 5-star home. As part of our process, we’ll carry out a few simple vetting checks, including a friendly FaceTime call. This helps us get to know each other, answer your questions, and ensure we’re the right fit. Building a strong, positive relationship with you is just as important as raising the puppies themselves.
Step 3: Regular Updates
From pregnancy right through to the early weeks, we’ll keep you updated with photos, videos, and FaceTime calls. This way, you’ll feel part of the journey from the very beginning.
Step 4: Puppy Visits & Deposit
Once the puppies are around 3–4 weeks old and their mum is comfortable, we’ll invite you to meet them in person. During this first visit, we’ll also go through our contracts so everything is clear and transparent.
If, after this visit, both you and we are happy to move forward, a deposit is then placed to secure your puppy.
Step 5: Choosing Your Puppy
If there are puppies available to choose from, we’ll guide you on their different personalities and help you find the perfect match for your family.
Step 6: Preparing for Your Puppy
Our puppy pack includes a full section dedicated to preparation, complete with checklists and helpful links to make sure you feel ready. It covers everything from bedding and crates to toys, training, and insurance. We’re also here to answer questions or offer recommendations for trusted vets, trainers, and groomers.
Step 7: Final Checks & Collection Day
When your puppy is between 8–10 weeks old (depending on our vet’s advice and each puppy’s development), they will be ready to join your family. Before leaving, each puppy has a comprehensive, signed and stamped veterinary check to confirm their health and wellbeing. The final payment is due on collection day. At this visit, we’ll go through the final contracts with you, and you’ll take home your puppy, their paperwork, and their personalised pack.
Step 8: Ongoing Support
Our relationship doesn’t end once your puppy leaves. We’ll check in regularly, and you can always phone us, day or night, for advice. We also host yearly puppy meet-up parties, where families can reconnect and celebrate their dachshunds’ journeys.
